Are only beautiful lives worthwhile?

When I asked Ruth Mae for the details today, she didn't recognize my story - but she told me another one that was pretty amazing - so perhaps its Cassandra or Samuel who confirmed yesterday's story. They both worked at Camp Joy a few years after I did.

Ruth Mae does have a large fund of stories - many of them very personal - about what unconscious/unresponsive people hear. (Scarey stuff!)

And from my short months of experience working with the profoundly (mentally) handicapped at Valley View, I have a strong consciousness of life behind the barrier of a "persistent vegetative state".... and who we to say that life isn't worthy?

Are only beautiful lives worthy?
