Guilt and Innocence

This paragraph from Colin Thubron's (very depressing!) book reminds me of the situation in Gosh that I have been writing to our prayer partners about... The inertia of good men (and women) has my stomach in knots. But surely God reigns.
Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when men succeed in their ways,

I took a look and I think it will take me a while to be able to comment on your religious entries. But your dog Lily is indeed a nice dog! We have a dog, too - and 4 cats. I must confess, I prefer the cats. But walking by the river with Willie (our dog) on a sunny, sunny morning like today is VERY nice.
