This describes our church I think. Although the word that first came to mind was unpretentious. I don't think we're actually all that simple - most of our members have rather complicated lives really. But they are definitely frank and unpretentious!

And so are their flower arrangements. I don't think anyone in our congregation has ever studied 生け花 (the Japanese art of flower arranging).
The flowers are always on the simple side. Even so, I was a just a little surprised last Sunday to look up and notice this clover and daisy arrangement.
