Friendship can seem scary.
I dont like the thought of somebody knowing me really well and knowing all about my vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
Ahh... but its such a lovely feeling when you do let people see who you really are with all your weaknesses and blemishes - and it turns out that they love you anyway!
That's so much more comfortable and satisfying than always having to hide and wondering what they'd think of you if they really knew!
