The Weight of Glory
For some reason - the word glory? - thinking about the 1 Peter passage reminded me of C.S Lewis's sermon The Weight of Glory . Perhaps that would make good Sabbath reading. After all tomorrow is Sunday... and there's the long trip (4 hours) to Kazamaura for the monthly meeting.

I read the Weight of Glory when I was 16 and didn't really understand it, but when I returned to it about 10 years later, the weight was profound. :) I always wanted a preacher to deliver it on an appropriate Sunday morning. I hope all is well at the Elliot camp. Thanks for your posts, I enjoy reading about the Blue Forest journey.
We read it next day (Sunday) in the truck going up to Luke & Yuko's place... not quite the same as hearing it delivered from the pulpit on an appropriate occasion. But still GOOD.
Yes, we're well - and anxiously awaiting news of baby Witt!
