Here we go again...

...with cherry blossom season and the feeling that there's just too much busy-ness ...I'm back to the same "sermon" again!

But really, “What is life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare... A POOR LIFE THIS, if full of care, we have no time to stand and stare!”

Cherry Blossom tree by front gate at Hirosaki U.

So then, let’s take a little time to stand and stare!

LEISURE

What is life if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

No time to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as sheep or cows.

No time to see, when wood we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass.

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like stars at night.

No time to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance.

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began.

A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare.

Or sit and stare! :-)

And Siqin, there's ALWAYS something to stare at! But I can see you might miss the sakura and tulips!

I got in trouble all the time for staring when I was a kid. (Which is why I never gave my kids a hard time at GEOS if they stared.) Now I stare as much as I want every morning and through any window.
