今日頂いた歩行器と、ハサミ遊びの結果帽子にされてしまった元ボールとで『学校ごっこ』らしい。姉さん、しきりに「宿題、宿題」と言っています(笑)

Just in case you don't recognize the hat... 1rst graders in Japan must wear little yellow hats. So apparently Big Sister made him one with a yellow ball and a pair of scissors. (It was unclear whether she got permission before or after the first incision of the scissors!)
Daughter # 1 also played teacher and actually taught Daughter # 2 to read! Or perhaps Daughter # 2 just absorbed it during the game.
Here in Japan much is made of the upper classman role and I think this role is important in the Christian life as well:
Let us run the race not only for the prize.
But as those who've gone before us.

That's funny --- I was just thinking the other day, I want everyone to sing that song at my funeral (whenever that might be) :P
