After sleeping on it, the answer is…

My little list was NOT “the beginning.” 

I did think some more….  I thought all the way down to Takayama  - and went to bed having reached no conclusion.

But I woke up in the morning having remembered. (Sleeping on it is often a very good plan!)

I entered Hirosaki University with a much simpler plan… to improve my language skills  and to write up (in English) – possibly into a book but, in any case, something distributable - the Takayama research.
