Best way to spend the vacation!
My husband thinks the best way to spend a holiday or vacation is to lie on the bed and read.... and I'm inclined to agree. Although lying on the bed usually means I end up asleep so I usually choose a chair! This week while I read James Montgomery Boice's "Whatever Happened to the Gospel of Grace? Rediscovering the Doctrines That Shook the World", my husband is re-reading Os Guinness's "The Call: Finding and Fulfilling the Central Purpose of Your Life."James Montgomery Boice and Os Guinness - two of my favorite authors! But I think I'm going to branch over into my China hero(ine)s soon... Mildred Cable and Francesca French.

vacation in bed? I spend half of my life in bed already. Much prefer to be out-of-doors, enjoying the sunshine and the beauty of nature. SMM
Don't worry we spend most of our time enjoying the sea, the mountains, the trees, etc. We spend a great deal of time walking the hills and even if we do lie down for a bit, this particular bed is nearly out of doors... We can see the trees in the day and the stars at night.
Sure glad you enjoyed your vacation reading at Tak. Our kids missed going this summer and talked about it often. I am sure you will miss your little grand-daughters. Take care.
