Daughter # 1 and her Daughter boarding the plane

Saturday, after packing Daughter # 3 off home for a class reunion and my husband off to Hachinohe for a preaching assignment I took Daughter # 1 and her Daughter to the airport. It was nice to have the whole family with us this year - even if only for a few days.

My son-in-law has a strong attachment to Takayama and today as Daughter # 4 and I picnicked on the panoramic drive overlooking Matsushima it came back to me... Takayama is where Jun and Anna (Daughter # 1) first met!
