Two Retreats

Last week I attended the KGK (IFES) Spring Retreat for University students: about 60 students from various universities throughout northeastern Japan gathered at the Tohoku University Seminar Center in Ozaki City just outside of Sendai. (Actually, it didn't look like a city to me! And it wasn't exactly my idea of "close" to Sendai!)

The theme was FOUNDATION: 岩だぬきの人生設計に学ぶ bouncing off Proverbs 30:26 ".... coneys are creatures of little power, yet they make their home in the crags."

It was so good and, to be honest, I enjoyed it more than the Women in Ministry Retreat in Karuizawa two weeks before. That was nice, too. But it always takes me awhile to get used to a group of women.
