A little chilly!

Newly married Daughter #3 sent us this photo last week. Apparently she heard her husband snorting with laughter and when she went to investigate she found the laundry had frozen on the line - in the house! A few days later she sent a photo of the water frozen in the cat's dish. We have a little more insulation than they do - they're renting an old farm house - but even here I sometimes feel a little chilly working upstairs.

I love this Old Testament blessing:

"The LORD bless you and keep you;
the LORD make his face shine upon you and
be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."
- Numbers 6:24-26

To be honest, in the middle of a January/February I want to FEEL His face shining on me!

Ha! I have always dreamed of living in a winter wonderland (I really dislike hot and humid), but the older I get the more I think that God knew I am better off living in a place where I don't have to shovel snow - or defrost my clothing before putting them on!!

Remember the snow drifts by the windows in the Caronport dorms??

I certainly do remember those drifts at Caronport!

And, Sue, on my good days I think the winter wonderland is worth the chilly days. The rest of the time I just try not to be chilly!!
