Today I was reminded of the line's Jehoachim Neander's hymn "Praise to the Lord": Hast thou not seen how thy desires ever have been, Granted in what He ordaineth?
I have a good husband - one I probably wouldn't have chosen without a little (a great deal of ?) help from my friends and relations - but who turned out to be what I desired. I am so grateful for what God ordained.
