Since our Home Assignment budget was made before fuel prices escalated, my trip was much longer and much less direct than usual.
And to complicate matters, I have a bum knee.
But there was still so much for which to be thankful and I’m now safe in Toronto staying with my son’s family for the month of March.
People told me where to go, helped me with my bags etc, etc. in a way that made me feel that this promise to Jacob was being played out in my own life.
“I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” - Genesis 28:14-16
